Brother Lawson has served his lodge as Junior Steward, Tiler, Junior and Senior Deacons, Secretary, Chaplain, Junior and Senior Wardens as well as Worshipful Master.
If something needs to be done to the lodge building, you will find him front and center willing to lend a helping hand. David is also a member of the Wichita Falls Chapter of The Royal Arch Mason No. 202, Wichita Falls Council Royal & Select Master No. 140, as well as Wichita Falls Commandery No. 59.
This masonic year, he was appointed as the instructor for Faith Lodges' School of Instruction where he used his love of the craft and knowledge of Freemasonry to help not only learn the floor work, he also holds an esoteric A certificate and has helped individual brothers obtain an esoteric certificate The Committee on Work. David is a vital member of the Faiths Finance Committee, plays a key role in obtaining matching funds for the Sidney A. Gaines scholarships. He is also the Chair for The Fantastic Teeth program where he has seen that over 1800 of these toothbrush kits made into the hands of local first-grade students.
Prior to his lodge celebrating its 100 year anniversary on December 18th of 2021, brother Lawson read years and years of minutes and was able to write a 23-page program that gave a telling history of Faith Lodge. David even coined a phrase that would be used as the name for the program a "Celebration In Time". This phrase will be remembered for time immamorial.
Congratulations Brother Lawson!
