Blood, the Gift of Life blood drive

in 2014 Faith Lodge began hosting our annual 9/11 memorial blood drive on or near Sept 11 each year. This drive was created to honor the first responders that lost their lives on that fateful day.  In that time period we have collected  166 pints of blood from 139 donors.  

In 2017 we renamed our annual drive, it is now called The Lauren Landavazo Memorial Boots and Badges  9/11 Blood Drive. 

As part of the Gift of Life program through the Grand Lodge of Texas and a proud supporter of the Texas Blood Institute, Faith Lodge is happy to announce our commitment to providing this life saving resource.  We at Faith Lodge, in cooperation with the folks at The Texas Blood Institue  will be holding many Blood Drives thoughout the year, so please return here often to stay updated.  Here is a little about The Texas Blood Institute that some may not be aware of.  "Help us Help them SAVE A LIFE"What is Texas Blood Institute?
Texas Blood Institute is the sole blood and platelet collection organization and supplier in north Texas. Local donors can give life-saving blood for those in our community.Who does Texas Blood Institute serve?
Texas Blood Institute provides blood to eight different hospitals in the north central Texas counties of Baylor, Wichita, Clay, Hardeman and Wilbarger.Hospitals that rely on donors with Texas Blood Institute to meet their patients' needs include:
Kell West Regional Hospital, Wichita Falls
Electra Memorial Hospital, Electra
United Regional, Wichita Falls
Clay County Memorial Hospital, Henrietta
Chillicothe Hospital, Chillicothe
Wilbarger General Hospital, Vernon
Hardeman County Memorial Hospital, Quanah
