Faith Masonic Lodge was chartered on December 9th,1921 by the Grand Lodge of Texas Temple in Waco. It was the second Lodge located in Wichita Falls, Texas, and was named for the city's motto: "The City that Faith Built.". This motto came from the 1st permanent resident of Wichita Falls, Joseph H. Barwise. When he and his wife moved here from Dallas by Ox driven wagon, it was nothing more than open land as far as the eye could see. His wife wanting to move on, he having so much Faith in this section of the country, he coined the phrase the City that Faith Built. Faith Lodge is located in the 88th Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of Texas. On Dec 9th, 2021 Faith Lodge turned 100 yrs old and we celebrated this occasion on Dec 18th, 2021 with a program presented by Brother David Lawson, who went over the 1st 50 years, and Brother David Yonts who presented the 2nd 50 years. The information used to present the program was collected from the reading of the minutes from the last 100 years.
